Anastasia Uglova, founder of Better Half and the technologist behind “agentic tech,” argues that today’s systems reward engagement and dependency – especially in the relational domain. What if we designed AI for agency and human thriving instead? This talk explores why relationships are AI’s highest-risk and highest-potential frontier and how a new design philosophy could unlock entirely new forms of social technology.
