Born on the frontera, Sultanes del Yonke channels the chaos, color, and rhythm of the border into a sound built from the unexpected. As they prepare to promote their debut album, due in April, the band is evolving its sound — keeping their regional rhythms and DIY spirit while weaving in samples, drum machines, and experimental, dance-driven styles. This collision of influences does true justice to the yonke in their name: raw, eclectic, and born from the beautiful chaos of the border. Recent milestones include a tour supporting Tropa Mágica and a standout performance at SXSW, solidifying their expanding live footprint.
