True crime is one of the most powerful ways the public grapples with justice and violence. Join Thien Ho, Sacramento DA and lead prosecutor on the Golden State Killer case; investigator Paul Holes, whose forensic work helped identify the killer; and historian Anne Soon Choi, whose biography of Thomas Noguchi explores the Coroner to the Stars’ most famous cases, including Marilyn Monroe and RFK. Together, they examine how law, forensic practice, technology, and storytelling shape how victims are represented, cold cases are solved, and truth is constructed. Moderated by publisher Stephanie Lim.
