SUMMARY:REHMA
LOCATION:Flamingo Cantina
DESCRIPTION:Inspired by her culturally rich & diverse upbringing\, between her Pakistani-Muslim heritage to her formative days in Chicago\, REHMA's sonic worlds are eclectic & vibrant. The singer-songwriter artfully weaves her powerful vocals with poetic lyricism\, floating between pop\, dance\, and R&B\, to create a singular soundscape & aesthetic that she coins as "desi-futurism"Off the back a buzzing 2024\, with a massive feature on Coke Studio (100M+ views across platforms)\, the cover of EQUAL Pakistan & a top slot on the Best Of Fresh Finds Year-End List)\, & earned co-signs from Savan Kotecha\, Natasha Noorani\, Zulfi\, Sid Sriram & more. She's cemented herself as a promising creative force\, not only in the rising South Asian diaspora\, but across global pop music. Her forthcoming project\, ANOMALY\, is a refreshing take on modern pop & a timely\, urgent coming of age story from the Pakistani-Muslim multi-hyphenate as she navigates her identity\, religion\, sexuality\, and femininity.
