SUMMARY:Big Bill
LOCATION:Lefty’s Brick Bar
DESCRIPTION:Austin's ripping\, idiosyncratic Big Bill forges their own darkly comedic brand of philosophical post-punk. Vocalist Eric Braden conjures weirdo underdog characters\, often in deadpan wit\, while Alan Lauer plays scarily spring-loaded bass lines\, Alex Riegelman scratches crazily on guitar\, and ex-White Denim Jeff Olson pummels his drums with elegant aplomb. The result of this combination is a legendary live show\, fueled by what has been called “climbing-up-the-rafters energy.”
