**10:30 PM** · Hilton Austin Downtown / Salon D

AI may make life easier, but at what cost to our imagination? Like a bike we stop riding, our creativity weakens when we overrely on AI. Still, while adults may feel rusty, we can get back on. For children, the risk is even greater: if they never build that muscle in the first place—never learn to ride at all—there’s nothing to return to. This all comes just as jobs are being disrupted, problems grow more complex, and we need more imagination, not less. This panel explores how we can grow creatively with AI (versus be diminished by it) and what we must build now to make that future possible.

## [Caleb De Casper](/sessions/2026-03-12/ms63304-caleb-de-casper)

**10:00 PM** · Valhalla

From the horror cabaret and glam-rock theatrics of his early career to the shadowy, neon-lit world of his current dark synth-pop, Austin-based performer Caleb De Casper has never stopped evolving. A classically trained pianist and vocalist, De Casper commands the stage with a sharpened, unmistakable intensity — trading in the avant-garde gowns and stilettos of the past for a bold, more masculine and unfiltered presence that puts the focus squarely on the music, the message, and the electricity of performance. His 2022 debut LP Femme Boy expanded his sonic world, weaving dancefloor heat, cinematic drama, and queer storytelling into a record that was equal parts brooding and explosive. That same year, the City of Austin proclaimed Caleb De Casper Day, recognizing his cultural impact. He went on to perform yearly at SXSW, Austin City Limits Music Festival, Utopia Fest, Houston’s Art Car Festival, Thin Line Fest, and multiple Pride celebrations, while continuously advocating for LGBTQIA rights at the Texas State Capitol and beyond. Now, with his forthcoming sophomore album Delirium, De Casper enters a new creative chapter — darker, dirtier, dance-driven, and poised for a breakthrough.

## [Gogol Bordello](/sessions/2026-03-12/ms63610-gogol-bordello)

**10:45 PM** · Mohawk / Mohawk Outdoor

For Gogol Bordello’s new record, "We Mean It, Man!", Hütz set out to blend post-punk textures and aggro to Gogol Bordello’s free-wheeling gypsy-punk. He chose to work with the production team of Nick Launay (Gang of Four, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Idles) and Adam “Atom” Greenspan (Nick Cave, Idles, Flogging Molly) to accomplish this goal. Together with his long running band, they knocked out twelve super punchy and hook-laden songs. The title track, “We Mean It, Man!” is all pile-driving punk intensity which crescendoes into no-wave sax skronk. “No Time For Idiots” is a Strummer/Jones-esque riff-punk with a giant chorus payoff. “Life Is Possible Again” voices an optimism against the dread of the Ukraine war. “Solidarity” features New Order’s Bernard Sumner on the Angelic Upstart’s Solidarność-punk anthem updated to address the Ukraine war effort. This is the album and political message the world needs now.

## [Sultanes del Yonke](/sessions/2026-03-12/ms63352-sultanes-del-yonke)

**10:20 PM** · Shangri-La

Born on the frontera, Sultanes del Yonke channels the chaos, color, and rhythm of the border into a sound built from the unexpected. As they prepare to promote their debut album, due in April, the band is evolving its sound — keeping their regional rhythms and DIY spirit while weaving in samples, drum machines, and experimental, dance-driven styles. This collision of influences does true justice to the yonke in their name: raw, eclectic, and born from the beautiful chaos of the border. Recent milestones include a tour supporting Tropa Mágica and a standout performance at SXSW, solidifying their expanding live footprint.

As a Season 20 finalist, she earned Mel B’s coveted Golden Buzzer, launching her straight into the finals and into living rooms across the country. In that historic run, she became the first female rapper ever to reach the Top 10 in the show’s history—shattering expectations and proving that rap can be stadium-sized, deeply vulnerable, and undeniably powerful all at once. Comparisons to icons like Missy Elliott followed, but Mama Duke made it clear. She’s not here to imitate, she’s here to redefine.
