British Music Embassy Returns With Two-Night Showcase at SXSW London
The British Music Embassy (BME) has announced its return to SXSW London for 2026 with an exclusive two-night showcase at Devonshire Square, running 7 PM to 11 PM on Tuesday, June 2, and Wednesday, June 3.

British Music Embassy Legacy
Now in its 19th year, the BME has been a fixture at SXSW Austin since 2008, launching over 700 UK acts including Sam Fender, Little Simz, and Wolf Alice. The London edition extends this legacy to the UK capital itself.
The showcase is a major industry collaboration backed by the Department for Business and Trade, PPL, PRS for Music, the BPI, British Council, UK Music, PRS Foundation, and the Northern Music Export Office.
Northern Music Export Office Launch
Tuesday will also mark the official launch of the Northern Music Export Office at the BME. A panel hosted by BBC Radio 1's Maia Beth, featuring Generator and four Northern Mayors, will explore how regional collaboration and cultural investment are reshaping the UK music industry outside London.
