For the first time in its 40-year history, SXSW is bringing all events together into a single unified timeframe: **7 days** (March 12–18) spanning Innovation, Film & TV, and Music.

## What's New in 2026

### Unified Format
All three verticals — Innovation, Film & TV, and Music — now run simultaneously. No more choosing between conferences. Platinum badge holders get access to everything.

### Three Clubhouses
SXSW is rolling out dedicated Clubhouse hubs for each vertical across downtown Austin. These serve as home bases for networking, recharging, finding info, and bumping into industry leaders. Think of them as beacons to orient you across the city.

### Expanded Music Festival
The Music Festival expands to **7 consecutive nights** of showcases — one extra night compared to previous years. More chances to discover new artists at Austin's iconic venues.

### No Austin Convention Center
The convention center is unavailable this year, so SXSW is building a **pop-up village** across downtown Austin. Programming tracks are aligned with key buildings, and the Clubhouses serve as orientation points.
