Emma Higgins’ debut, Sweetness, world-premiered at SXSW 2025; RT Thorne’s film, 40 Acres, had its US debut at SXSW 2025; and Floria Sigismondi’s film, The Runaways, has achieved cult status in pop culture. They will discuss the transition from the tight budgets of videos to the logistics of securing funding for their own stories and having the creative license to fulfill their visions.
