Vintage Jay hailing from off Rundberg Ln in Austin’s gritty, very culturally diverse Northside.  Austin based rapper and DJ has risen up to speak for a section of Austin that has rarely had a voice. Blending tales from the streets with very poignant bars of consciousness and social reform. Vintage Jay was featured on KUTX radio September Artist of the month and KUTX Summer Jam. Making him an official NPR Session artist. The city of Austin has also given Jay his official proclamation date September 12th. From producing cultural and musical events to as well expressing his life through music. Jay has become an individual of many traits, his latest album Still I Rise, speaks of a new age of creativity and musical expression to the ear. His growth in his music is something that appears in every album, and one thing that never changes is that he stays true to himself and the craft. Jay has become a true tastemaker and one of the biggest Latino figures in Austin, TX. To represent the Latino culture with pride and honor is something Jay has done since day 1.
