Bricknasty
Conflict is interesting in art. It forces conversations, and asks questions that often still need to be answered. On “Black’s Law”, the third body of work from Irish quintet Bricknasty, some of society’s most complex topics are explored — religion, political disillusionment, nationalism, human mentality. For mercurial frontman/guitarist Fatboy and co, it’s less about seeing the light themselves — and more pointing others in the right direction.

Lauren Lakis
A child of Baltimore, Lauren grew to embrace the fatalistic spirit of the city in her work and art, with stunningly raw, haunting tones and “delightfully gut-churning shoegaze”’. On her next album Deadlights, set for release on Riding Easy Records on May 8, 2026, she conjures a shifting reality—one defined by both distortion and clarity. Indebted to shoe gaze and ’90s alt rock, it's filled with ethereal vocals, melodic guitars, and a heavy low end.
Panic Shack
If there's one thing Panic Shack know, it's how to have a good time. Comprised of Sarah, Meg, Romi, Em and Nick, the band formed in 2018 as a middle-finger to the “members-only club” atmosphere of indie and punk scenes – not just because they’re male-dominated, but because they make playing music seem out of reach or, even worse, boring. This carefree approach gives Panic Shack’s music the same effect as popping a bottle of Prosecco – explosive, intoxicating, and delightfully chaotic. With barely any music available online, they built a word-of-mouth following off the back of their live shows, which have been praised for fusing “thrashy early LA-style punk with choreography that owes something to the Go-Go’s and Iron Maiden all at once” (The Guardian).Released in 2022, their acclaimed Baby Shack EP bottled the lightning they have on stage, cementing their ability to blend killer hooks with a contagious sense of humour.

Harry Eagle grew up in Sheffield, a city ingrained with the pumping sounds of organ house and bassline. He learned the piano as an early teen, and Aphex Twin, Arca and Mura Masa would be his entry point into electronic music. At 16, he was going to raves in the Peak District. Friends started showing him “old school bassline, free party jacking house, speed garage, more like the Birmingham Ecko Records stuff”. It flipped a switch in his brain: “It gave me the kind of same intensity of the instrumental electronic stuff, but you could write a song over it – have weird square wave stuff but it still be a banging tune, a really cool R&B-influenced melody.”
Now, among a growing scene, Silva Bumpa is supported by peers including Interplanetary Criminal, Main Phase and Soul Mass Transit System, as well as bonafide bassline OGs such as Tom Shorterz, Big Ang and Joe Hunt, who are happy to share stages and b2bs with the relative newcomers.
