Montclair is the Austin, Texas-based, independent folk-rock project resulting from four friends’ expression of joy and curiosity for life. Montclair's sound explores themes of self-discovery and emerging adulthood, from the beloved surf rock groove of “Pastel Lies” to the forlorn folk guitar wave in “Passing Through”. Their debut album, “Heart is Alive!” explores their musical potential and emotional range, both on full display in the first two singles, the titular and upbeat “Heart is Alive!” and the enigmatic rock powerhouse “Coming to the Rescue”. With a dynamic range of music, Montclair’s live performances are energetic and engaging, and they are known to have a strong crowd pull in Texas. Montclair has been invited to play onstage to crowds at festivals and iconic Texas venues such as House of Blues Houston, and a sold-out Antone's Nightclub, with nationally touring acts like Echosmith, The Brook and The Bluff, Dayglow, Giant Rooks, The Wldlfe, Briscoe, and many more. They look forward to the release of their debut album and the adventures and inspirations that await them ahead.
