Alina Pash
Alina Pash is a Ukrainian artist now based in Los Angeles, building a bold new live experience in the U.S.—a mystic rap-based opera that fuses deep-root Ukrainian ritual, ethnic vocal power, and modern bass/electronic production. Blanky
The members of Blanky would be like dogs to step on. Yeah, don’t worry, it’s just dogs. The scent of these sad puppies is on the nose of resentment and a mutual love for creating is the one thing covering their tracks. Suckers for lifestyles past and urban devitalization, Blanky abandoned their birthplace of Asheville, NC to be somewhere a little less perfect. They found no better a place to skip town to than Kansas City, Kansas. Their sound is a combination of elements encompassing folk-rock, garage, surf and 90’s alternative that will leave you lost in the languor left of a perfect day gone past. With the vocals and lyrics of lead songwriter Anthony Cunard at the forefront, their music conjures up scenes of a stereotypical Kansas summer; unending plains, smoky old pool halls and golden hour sunlight. While the soft/loud/soft dynamics of their songs may be a nod to the likes of The Pixies or The Breeders their roots are closer to less widely known acts such as Roland s. Howard or Charlie Megira. As underdogs championing a forgotten sound these sad pups are used to being alone but are not averse to an audience while howling at the moon.
Modern Cinema Master
Modern Cinema Master is a four-piece band formed in Taipei, whose sound is heavily influenced by the independent rock of the 1990s. Their music is driven by sharp noise, post-punk energy, and lo-fi anthems.

To date, they have released two EPs, three singles, and two double-CD albums, amassing more than forty original songs. Their live performances are equally renowned, frequently selling out thousand-capacity venues in Taiwan and China. In 2025, they were invited to perform at the Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival in Korea, where they received an enthusiastic response.
Modern Cinema Master’s music is simultaneously raw and refined, pairing poetic, thought-provoking lyrics with a powerful sonic edge. Their track “I Want to Kill Romance and Murder Poetry” earned Taiwan’s most prestigious independent music award for Best Rock Song, with the jury praising it as “savagely precise, capturing the very essence of rock.”
Blending fierce, driving melodies with blunt, hard-hitting lyrics, The Modern Cinema Masters fuse critique and irony into one powerful voice, a sound that captures the essence of our times.

Good Flying Birds
Good Flying Birds is a jangling, noisy guitar-pop group based in the Midwest, USA. It began in 2023 with a collection of 4-track cassette recordings and stop-motion videos uploaded to YouTube under the name “Talulah God,” along with a chaotic and colorful, GIF-infested website. Over the following months, songs were uploaded fairly frequently, eventually catching the attention of influential label operator Martin Meyer. In early 2025, Talulah’s Tape was released on Rotten Apple, a collection of home recordings from 2020–2024. It showcased a wide-ranging love for the history of independent guitar music, clever and melodic songwriting, and an approachable twee-punk charm. Following the success of the tape and gaining a reputation as a must-see live act, they signed with Carpark and Smoking Room, who co-released Talulah’s Tape in late 2025. The influence of jangly lo-fi/DIY heavyweights who came before like Guided By Voices (their namesake), Beat Happening, DLIMC, Talulah Gosh (partly their namesake), and The Vaselines, is prevalent, but they carry a unique charm all their own. It’s the sound of looking at a crumbling world with rosy cheeks and wide eyes, a tambourine by your side.

Whitelands
Originally inspired by a Slowdive KEXP session, London-based quartet Whitelands fuse their diverse musical backgrounds into an updated spin on shoegaze that amplifies marginalized voices and perspectives. Formed in the late 2010s as the solo project of Etienne Quartey-Papafio, Whitelands evolved into a full band ahead of their official debut album, Night-Bound Eyes Are Blind to the Day (2024), released during a U.K. tour with Slowdive. The project takes its name from a campus at London’s Roehampton University, where Quartey-Papafio first performed live. Their self-titled 2018 debut, a lo-fi blend of jagged indie rock and hazy grunge textures, hinted at the immersive sound they would later embrace. A turning point came when Quartey-Papafio stumbled upon Slowdive’s 2017 KEXP performance, igniting a deeper fixation on shoegaze. The current lineup consists of Jagun Meseorisa, Vanessa Govinden, and Michael Adelaja who bonded through shared experiences of neurodivergence and racial identity. Whitelands’ forthcoming album, Sunlight Echoes (out January 30, 2026), expands their sound, moving beyond shoegaze’s shadows toward something bigger, brighter, and unmistakably their own.

Kids
Kids is an art punk project focused on writing the most subversive music possible within tight limitations. Their sound is characterized by a lack of effects pedals, idiosyncratic arrangements and song forms, and an irreverent high energy that contrasts with their relatively minimal sound. The crown jewel of Kids is in the double vocals: All of their music relies on meticulous interplay between Venezuelan guitarist Julio Prato and bass player Ani Kramer on the vocal front, reimagining the idea of a song as more of a conversation between lead vocalists rather than the highlight of just one. All this is laid atop a flurry of cutting edge guitar work, grounding bass lines, and the one-of-a-kind surgical manner of drumming Colin Ferguson always brings to the table.
Lola Tried
Lola Tried is a fast-paced, loud-as-hell rock band from Austin, Texas, with driving guitars, sharp melodies, and the commanding voice of Lauren Burton. Marley Hale
Born in Texas and raised in Northern California, Marley Hale’s musical influences followed: Texas’s deep, country and western swing roots met San Francisco’s folk and rock legends. The result: classic country tropes, turned on their heads through a switching of roles or a repossessed identity; delicate, revelatory explorations of what it means to be a friend, lover, or neither; and second person addresses to herself that offer both an onlooker’s and her own perspective. After California, Hale spent time in Austin, TX and Portland, OR before relocating to Brooklyn, NY, where she recorded her debut EP, By My Own Ways, released July 2024, and began touring the US and Canada. After spending the better part of three years on the road, she moved back home to Austin, where she now resides.

By helming every aspect of his artistry, he’s able to operate fluidly, and his vision resonates across boundaries.
