We are in the worst reading crisis in American history, a reflection of an education standard that has stagnated for almost half a century, yet the system is now being transformed through the Science of Reading. Author James Patterson takes us on a journey with several elementary schools throughout Florida that have implemented curriculum based on the Science of Reading provided by the UFLI Foundations program led by Dr. Holly Lane.  This new system is rebooting the entire way we teach reading to our kids, and these are the emotional stories from the front lines of The Reading Reboot.
