Reverby guitars and post-punk energy meet dreamy Spanishvocals – somewhere between future anxiety and the desire forself-realization.German-Spanish artist grima emerged on Cologne’s wave scene in2024, leaning into a '90s-inspired shoegaze sound that now definesboth his live shows and debut EP.Early single En busca de caught international attention – includingairplay by London DJ and musician Nabihah Iqbal on her BBC Radio6 show. Following his live debut in Berlin, grima played internationalshowcases in spring 2025, including Liverpool Sound City (UK) andc/o pop Festival (DE).His debut EP instantes (antes de caer) was released in July 2025,accompanied by a sold-out release show in his adopted hometownCologne. The EP was featured on several Spotify Editorial Playlistsand even landed the cover of Fresh Finds Spain.Recent highlights include a support slot for acclaimed Americanshoegaze band glare and three shows at Reeperbahn Festival2025 – all while grima is already working on new material.
